Between 1612 and 1616, the Tokugawa Bakufu ordered the entire samurai garrison and all residents of the castle town of Kiyosu, samurai, townsfolk, craftsmen, merchants and their families to pack up everything and move in an occurance known as the Kiyisu-Goshi, the the great Kiyosu Relocation.
