One stop south of Tokyo Station on the Yamanote and Keihin Tohoku Lines, and served by the Yurakucho SubwayLine, is another bustling train station and surrounding business area known as Yurakucho. In the early years of the Edo period, not far from Edo Castles’ great Sukiyabashi Gate, was a samurai mansion called Yuraku-hara, owned by a man known as Yuraku.
