Koreyasu Shinnou, (Prince Koreyasu), also known as Minamoto no Koreyasu, (May 26, 1264 - November 25, 1326) was the seventh Shogun of the Kamakura period, reigning from 1266 until 1289. Koreyasu was born in Sagami-Kamakura as the legitimate son of Prince Munetaka, the sixth shogun. In July 1266, his father, Munetaka, was deposed and dispatched to Kyoto and so Koreyasu assumed the position of Seii Taishogun(Shogun) at the age of just two.
