Myoryu-ji Temple in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture, was founded in 1643 by the third lord of Kanazawa, Maeda Toshitsune, and because of its secret passageways, trick corridors and tunnels, hidden rooms and defensive capabilities it is better known by its nickname, the Ninja Temple.
