We have long been led to believe that samurai showed the utmost loyalty to their lords, even when they disagreed. This unwavering loyalty was one of the traits a samurai was supposed to posses, but history has proven time and again, that Sengoku, Warring States period loyalty was a fickle thing, even amongst the closest of friends.
